Clean Ocean Action’s mission is to improve the marine water quality off the New Jersey and New York coasts by identifying sources of pollution and mounting attacks on each source using research, public education, and citizen action. Clean Ocean Action works to enact and enforce measures necessary to clean up and protect our ocean. Clean Ocean Action is a broad-based coalition of over 170 conservation, environmental, fishing, boating, diving, surfing, women’s, business, service, community, and student groups who represent concerned citizens with a wide range of experience and expertise in ocean pollution issues.
