The Ten Towns Great Swamp Watershed Management Committee is a watershed management organization with representation from the ten municipalities in the watershed, as well as state and local agencies. As part of the current management plan, the Committee will develop water quality and watershed management fact sheets, and a slide show and video presentation on watershed management practices. The Committee plans to create a web page to distribute information about the Great Swamp region, and will also provide seminars on a variety of watershed topics. Through these and other projects, the Committee aims to increase awareness of the relationship between the condition of the Great Swamp and the health of the entire watershed.
