The main goal of the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) is to promote the protection of natural resources through the education of municipal environmental commissions and officials, as well as county and state agencies. ANJEC works through specific grants on projects including Watershed Planning Advocacy, State Plan Implementation, and the Highlands. ANJEC also provides training courses and workshops for Association members and local government. In addition, the Association maintains a library of over 7,000 volumes of technical and resource information.
