The Stafford Township Environmental Commission is a Barnegat Bay Educational Outreach Program funded by a New Jersey DEP grant. The goal of this program is to improve the storm water runoff quality and reduce erosion in the Cedar Run Creek and the Mill Creek in southern Ocean County. The Commission provides educational programs for students and adults including an endangered plant species recovery activity, stream watershed improvement projects, public awareness programs, and education regarding the use and management of public lands.
